And so it goes.. If you are reading this and intend to read it all the way through, than enjoy these next one thousand words. I promise to make it as interesting as possible, so thank you for reading. So it all starts with my experiences, where I have been, what I have done, who I have met, and most importantly, how collaboration ties into all the above. My entire life I have been a tad bit more “tech savvy” I guess you could say. I just think I always had a thing for technology and it became a big part of who I was. When I was younger I had a youtube channel with my best friends and we always came up with funny dances or skits and posted them. That is basically where the collaboration began. I have always loved working in groups; I come from a very big family so I was raised that way. I also played sports my entire life so collaborating was the only way to get things done. I am very independent, yes, but I truly do work well with others as well. In fact, I tend to enjoy being aroun...
Hi Bria! I think your group did a great job on your presentation, I was interested to see how you were going to describe the storming, norming and adjourning of a team but I think you guys did a great job and it made perfect sense. It was very interesting, you kept the audience engaged and included great information that was beneficial to understanding more about the team and how they all worked together. Great job!
ReplyDeleteHi Bria. I remember the presentation when you presented it in class today. It was interesting because it was of a particular sports team, the Cleveland Cavaliers. I think it’s very clever and neat that you applied the five stages into a sports team and did a very good job doing that. I don’t think I could’ve done that because it would be a little confusing. I’m glad that you think that you had a successful presentation
ReplyDeleteHey Bria, I agree that it was unfortunate that our group members were not able to make it to the class. I will have to disagree with you on presenting in front of class being difficult. To me presenting in front of a class is usually only tough when I don’t go over what I am supposed to say. Personally I’ve always been a person that speaks well in public. In conclusion, we did have a pretty organized presentation.
ReplyDeleteHi, Bria! Although you had one group member unfortunately not show up to your presentation, your group was able to perform at a level where the class could not tell what his part was that your group had to cover for. It was really nice to see your group use something other than a movie to describe Tuckman’s 5 Stages of Group Development. It was interesting to see a presentation on a group that formed in real life, compared to the other fictional examples given by others in the class.
ReplyDeleteI was really surprised when I found out a group was doing a sports team because I wasn't sure how exactly it would be executed since the team wasn't over, but seeing that it was a specific section of the team, I really enjoyed the presentation! Y'all did great!
